Privacy Policy
Effective date: June 16, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Soulforce Arts Institute LLC (“Soulforce Arts,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you visit soulforcearts.com or interact with our programs, classes, and emails.
Who we are
Soulforce Arts is the work of Joseph Arnold, based in Asheville, North Carolina, USA. You can reach us any time at joseph@soulforcearts.com.
What we collect
- Information you give us. Your name and email when you sign up for a free class, download the book excerpt, fill out the “Find Your Path” form, book a call, or join the newsletter. If you tell us what you play or what you’re struggling with, we collect that too.
- Payment information. When you buy a program, course, or membership, payment is processed by our payment provider, Stripe. We don’t store your full card details on our servers.
- Automatically collected information. Like most websites, we may collect basic technical data (IP address, browser type, pages visited) through cookies and similar technologies to understand how the site is used and to improve it. We do not currently run advertising or retargeting trackers.
How we use your information
- To deliver the classes, content, programs, and purchases you ask for.
- To send you the emails you signed up for, including the book excerpt sequence and the newsletter. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out any time.
- To respond to you personally and recommend the right next step.
- To improve the website and our offerings.
- To process payments and keep records.
Cookies and tracking
We use basic cookies to help the site work and to understand how it’s used. We don’t currently use advertising or retargeting trackers. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that help us run the business, and only as needed — for example:
- Stripe for payments
- EmailOctopus for email delivery
- Zoom for live classes
- Google Analytics for understanding site usage
Each of these has its own privacy practices. We may also disclose information if required by law.
Your choices and rights
You can unsubscribe from emails any time, and you can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing joseph@soulforcearts.com.
If you are in the European Economic Area or the UK, you have rights under the GDPR (access, correction, deletion, portability, objection, and withdrawal of consent). If you are a California resident, you have rights under the CCPA/CPRA (to know, delete, correct, and opt out of “sale” or “sharing” — and we do not sell your data). To exercise any of these, contact us at joseph@soulforcearts.com.
Data retention & security
We keep your information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law, and we take reasonable measures to protect it. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security.
Children
Our site and offerings are intended for adults. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we’ll delete it.
International visitors
We’re based in the United States, and your information may be processed there. By using the site, you understand your information may be transferred to and processed in the U.S.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. We’ll post the new version here with an updated effective date.

Terms of Use
Effective date: June 16, 2026
Welcome to soulforcearts.com. By using this site or buying from us, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.
Who we are
This site is operated by Soulforce Arts Institute LLC (“Soulforce Arts,” “we,” “us”), the work of Joseph Arnold, based in Asheville, North Carolina.
Educational purpose — not medical advice (please read)
Soulforce Arts offers education and coaching in the Soulforce Arts Approach and the Alexander Technique — ways of learning to move, play, and create with greater ease. Our classes, courses, programs, book, and content are educational. They are not medical, psychological, or therapeutic advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and they are not a substitute for care from a qualified health professional. If you have pain, an injury, or a medical or mental-health condition, please consult an appropriate professional, and don’t use anything you learn here in place of their advice. Always work within your own comfort and stop anything that causes pain. By taking part, you accept responsibility for your own body and wellbeing.
Results
We share stories and testimonials from real students, and we’re proud of their progress. They are individual experiences, not guarantees. Your results depend on many factors, including your own participation, and we can’t promise any specific outcome.
Purchases, payments & subscriptions
- Prices are listed on the site and may change. Payment is handled securely by Stripe; book purchases may go through third-party sellers such as Amazon, under their own terms.
- The Soulforce Arts Studio starts with an 8-week founding cohort, then continues month-to-month. The 8-week cohort is paid upfront and is non-refundable. Monthly membership is open-ended — you can cancel any time and won’t be charged again (past months aren’t refunded). An optional annual prepay is non-refundable. Prices are stated at the point of purchase.
- Private lessons are non-refundable.
- The Try-Harder Trap webinar carries a 14-day refund.
- Good-faith resolution: if something isn’t working, or the fit isn’t right, reach out. We’ll work with you in good faith to make it right — which may include extra one-to-one support to help with your specific situation. This is our commitment to you, not a guarantee of a refund.

You may use it for your own personal learning. You may not copy, resell, redistribute, or republish it without our written permission.
Your conduct
